Several Ron Paul supporters cornered this guy at a TN Firearms Association meeting last night and recorded it. They asked him several questions and essentially this RINO's answer was that the Constitution doesn't apply in the real world.

Bill Haslam is a joke yet he'll probably win because of his connections.

Bill Haslam is a joke yet he'll probably win because of his connections.

He's guaranteed to win for the following reasons:
1- he's a billionaire and will buy his way into office
2- he's a Republicanin a red state in a red year

end of story.

In the De-facto sense, his statement seems kinda true doesn't it? In the real world, he's going to get elected, help pass unconstitutional shit and probably laugh in our face about it.

I mean it's a piss-off, and the guy is clearly a massive d-bag, but isn't he kind of proving his statement to be true?

Wow. We need to see more of this sort of action. A LOT more. Paint the little weasels into a corner with politely asked but very pointed questions. Make them answer. Give them no choice. Let them sweat. Draw them out, one way or the other so that the world sees what they are really about. Then post to Youtube.

Question: would a youtube-like site for this sort of exposure of political candidates have a place in this world? I'm thinking a central location where the truth about any given candidate or office holder could be easily found?

Permits are just another way of denying your right to carry. Same goes for protesting, they set up the permit, but you apply for it, you get denied.

And in fact I think that he has a lot of guts appearing before a pro gun group when he himself leans in the direction against the right to keep and bear arms. Empty pandering isn't any good either.

But still, that was the wrong answer on the issue and his fundamental lack of understanding of individual rights is very disturbing.
