Watch the video. Best CSPAN video ever.

When right goes wrong: Conservative/Libertarian blogger Todd Seavey and National Review editor Helen Rittelmeyer aired some very personal laundry during a panel discussion that aired on C-SPAN2's BookTV Saturday night. The two were clashing over political ideology until Seavey unexpectedly veered off-course: Rittelmeyer, he announced, was his girlfriend for a tumultuous two years and ..... by the way, an expert at brutal gamesmanship. Like, say, juggling multiple men or coldly playing matchmaker for one couple so she could seduce the man and hurt the woman. Or so he claimed. "When you think about, it is pretty creepy," he told the audience. "What sort of evils are beyond the pale?"

"What do I think is off-bounds? I don't know? Spilling your heart out on C-SPAN?" she shot back.

Suffice to say the room got very quiet. Really, really awkward.

Maybe one of the comments had it best.

That's cold-blooded. That exchange makes him look small, but he must have waited a long time to deliver a shot like that. And because C-SPAN archives all its materials, it will be on file forever.

Payback is a mutha!
