The story was edited from earlier.

Earlier it said she "condoned" the ad.

Now she warned him it could be dangerous. Sounds like someone got a call from a senator's aid.

From your article:

""Candidates who are behind at the end reach, and sometimes they overreach," McCaskill said on MSNBC. "This ad is very dangerous because it reaches back to college. The ad came close to the line."...."

Which is to say it was way over the line, but she isn't going to say that.

I think Rand's answer on Fox was the right one: "Paul said ..."I really don't think that politicians should be asked to answer anonymous accusers from 27 years ago, but I will categorically deny that I ever kidnapped anyone or forced anybody to use drugs."

Unfortunately, when Rand wins they are going to call it backlash from this stupid ad and pretend the prior SUSA poll with the WEIRD party breakdown was remotely believable. We will have to remind them that the REASON it ran was because the DSCC had already cut funding of ads because Jack was so far behind, and Jack was desperate.

I saw the ad bitching about Rand going to New York from the DSCC on a few minutes ago, so they are still on the air.

She probably got a call from one of her OWN aides.....

For all we know, Claire was quite the cut up in college....

I meant cut as in 'reduced spending' according to press reports, not pulling out entirely. They HAD done that but the NRSC which I think doesn't want Rand to have a blow out either, taunted them into putting the money back in. I think NRSC is keeping its radio ads on so they can say they are 'still in' too, but it's a different level as I understand it. You'd know better than I do, though, since I only know what is in the news, not living in Kentucky.

I haven't seen the newest NRSC ad on yet. Maybe it's running in other parts of the state.

"Shocker" by Crossroads GPS is still running.

.

I think it's a radio ad. Someone posted it here. It was another 'Jack Waffles' commercial.

If local news is doing its job, Jack "No Shame" Conway should be polling -15 to -20 after this ad.

You well know local news (the major papers in any event) are not doing their job. The Herald Leader apparently had VERY damaging info on Jack's ethics complaint, per Pageone this morning, and decided not to print it.

Gee that wasn't biased. Picking polls that make it look close, calling rand extreme, saying he couldnt win any other year.... Now I see why no one watches MSNBC

There was a waffles one, too, radio only.
