I set this up today in Outlook Express since I do get alot of advertising, business requests and group threads sent to me. Here are some instructions.

Create Your Auto Reply Message
Open Notepad.
Type the information that you would like to appear in your reply message.
In the File menu click Save As.
Type RonPaul4President.txt
Remember where it is saved, and click Save. You can now close this window.

NOTE: save the message as filename.txt, not as filename.eml, .eml files are sent as attachments to your auto-reply, .txt files will be included in the message body of your auto-reply. You could do a web page .html but some people email setting may be set only to read 'Plain Text'.

Now make a Rule to Send Your Auto Reply
In the Tools menu choose Message Rules.
In the Message Rules dialog box, choose Mail Rules.
In Box #1 scroll down and select the last choice For All Messages.
In Box #2 select the choice Reply with Message.
In Box #3 click the underlined message.
This will open an Open menu. You will then select RonPaul4President.txt, the text document containing your saved auto reply message from the first set of instructions. If you don't see it your file you need to hit the down arrow in the textbox to select .txt file instead of the default .eml.
Select the file and click Open.
In Box #4, name your rule as Auto Reply, then click OK.
You should see
Apply this rule after the message arrives

For all messages

Reply with C:\RonPaul4President.txt

Then click OK to close the window.

This is what I put in my RonPaul4President.txt file.

VOTE Ron Paul 2008

Who Is Ron Paul?

Dr. Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the "one exception to the Gang of 535" on Capitol Hill.

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.

He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.
