A government that obeys the law is the foundation for any successful society. Lawlessness is chaos, but a stable government is one that obeys it's Constitution. When governments ignore the Constitution, the outgrowth into society is chaos and lawlessness. This is happening now.

Before we can even specify what reforms need to be made, government must be brought into compliance with the Constitution. Required reforms can then be amended into the Constitution in order to provide legal, stable government that creates a proper environment for growth in the markets and the arts.

It could take ten years just to bring the government into compliance with the Constitution, but if you get involved and stay involved we may be able to do it in just three or four.

Once you help me get elected, then keep helping - by locating other Constitutionalist candidates around the State and encouraging them to run.

My goal is to form a Constitutionalist Caucus with the express goal of restoring and maintaining compliance. Your help can make our caucus the swing vote. :D

Article VI. Clause 3 of the Constitution of the United States of America.
"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."

When elected officials are officially bound to their Oath of Office (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=249886), then they will confine their votes to only Constitutional law.

The biggest danger to the Constitution has and always will be the idea of revisionism. The "living document" that so many people seem to praise.

As you know, the Constitution can be amended, and that is the only living part of it. In fact, if actions taken by politicians are not legitimately bound by the Constitution, then their actions are void. Our republics get their power from the Constitution, so that is the only lawful power they have. The people do not have to submit to unconstitutional laws.

It is up to the people (the 4th branch of government) to learn what the Constitution is, what it says, how it works and how to enforce its restrictions on public officials. Until they do, they will live in fear and pseudo tyranny.
