LAKE GASTON — Controlling wasteful spending and making education a priority are two issues candidates for North Carolina House of Representatives District 49 addressed during a forum Wednesday. John May, D-Louisburg, and Glen Bradley, R-Youngsville, spoke to 60 people at the Lake Gaston Association meeting Wednesday morning.
