Chris is deluded. He had Conway on his show twice and bought what he was told, apparently.

He also recently said, regarding the miners rescued, that with the "every-man-for-himself” philosophy of the tea party, “they would have been killing each other after about two days." Not many people, other than Conway's core base, take this idiot seriously.

Matthews can say whatever he wants. Fox promotes the repub candidates, and did a good job with Rand (with that Frank Lutz segment) and MSNBC hosts are paid to promote the democrats. I do however believe that Rand needs to start pushing back a little harder, and shift the focus from solely on Obama/Pelosi, to focuson negative advertisements against Conway and the lies he is promoting. Heck throw in some abortion ads as well to make sure all the religious people turn out to vote.

So does Chrissy have any rational basis for his statement, because the polls sure as hell ain't backing him up right now, or does he just feel that tingle going up his leg at the sight of Conway's chiseled mandible?

Edit: just now realized this is on Conway's official YouTube channel. Funny to see him pushing a prediction from a blowhard on MS-DNC.

It's similar to Pelosi saying a few months ago she was extremely confident Dems would retain the house and berating Gibbs for saying otherwise. It's similar to Conway saying he doesn't believe two polls in September that showed Rand up 15, saying that his internal polling says "its a dead heat." Matthews knows full well Conway is losing, he just thinks that making it sound closer than it is will drive momentum in the turnout.

They do have a point.

That's not exactly Fox saying Conway may win. It's more a dumb question followed up by quoting a DSCC official and Conway's campaign's spokesman as their reason for asking the question at all.

But, when the base who should be marching hard for you is sending in editorial letters against your guy......
