Does anybody know whether the DSCC is still running ads against Rand in Kentucky, or have they already pulled out? I heard on the radio that the DSCC was pulling out of certain places, and I was wondering whether Kentucky was one of those places.

That ad was running earlier today.

Out-of-state democrats, who support cap and trade, bitching that Rand Paul wasn't born in Kentucky....

They HAD pulled out, then the NRSC taunted them about it and dared them to put the money back in, and National Review 'called the race for Rand' and now they are back in. As far as I am concerned we have the NRSC to thank for that.

But I doubt they'll pull completely out unless and until another round of polls shows Jack dead in the water. They have made Rand the face of the enemy, idiots that they are, and they are sort of stuck with it.

I believe they just came out with another about medicare, because Conway doesn't mention that enough.

Yeah, I've seen that one. I don't think that is very effective. I would've thought they would've put out another one by now. I just can't believe they want to spend money in Kentucky when they have so many other seats to defend.

I read tonight that KY is the only republican held seat they are still targeting.

so did I. They REALLY don't want Rand in. And even when he wins they want to be able to say it was despite his views, rather than because of them, which would be easier if the race were close.
