Lee is a monetarist, and some of the things he says in his videos can make me cringe.

That being said, I like most of his work, and he is better educated on free-markets than most conservative youtubers out there. I would hope that he had absolutely no trouble trapping cenk into an intellectual corner. I'll try to watch this tomorrow.

Lee Doren is creepy and comes off as a giant phony and opportunist to me.

Lee Doren had the argument, but Cenk had the debate. Cenk is just a much more engaging communicator. He was more animated and therefore more interesting to listen to and to the uninformed person more compelling.

Surprisingly there was little evidence of Lee's monetarism in this debate. He gave an very Austrian story on low interest rates caused "malinvestment" and leading to the crash (not to say monetarists can't agree, e.g. John Taylor) and opposed any further QE.
