This isn't going to end well. This has all the makings of a proletariat uprising, but not the type that is liberty friendly. The petulant children who call themselves French citizens don't appear too happy about the impending cuts. As if the rivers of milk and honey redistribution would last an eternity? Silly rabbits, Trix are for kids!!

The French want the impossible. Look at what socialism/progressivism does to a mind.

If they love socialism so much, they can always move to North Korea and give that a shot.

This is my attitude towards the whole situation.

Listen to this sick creature:

Jeremy Gomez, 18, a lycée student from the Seine et Marne department, said: "We are sick of everything Sarkozy stands for, especially his authoritarianism and xenophobia. But this pension reform is not just about old people. It will hurt us too."

It's funny that Sarkozy would be considered a heavy RINO in America. Since when is union thuggery not considered authoritarian in nature? Secondly, you have to be a fool to believe that lucrative pensions and comfortable french benefits should be immune from the contraction that's ravaging the private sector. 0 minus 0 is 0. Public workers are dependent on the private sector. Their hosts are dying and they cannot comprehend the cause of the symptoms. Those who live by the sword of collectivism, eventually will by die by it's very hand.

Fun, looks like we might get another French Revolution. The French people have to be some of the most stupid on the planet. I have no idea why anyone would be a Francophile unless they were also stupid.

Edit: No insult meant to non-stupid Frenchmen.

I am glad Bastiat is not alive to see his kinsman do this to themselves.

They did it in 1848 as well. The French do this stuff all the time. Which is why I am glad Britain colonized America, and not the French.

They're going to cannibalize each other at this rate, especially with the incoming austerity measures, which will shrink their welfare state like a slug under a pile of salt.
