My short synopsis of his speech:


"looks beyond the immediate geography of where you come from"

"The world has gotten smaller - things aren't happening way away somewhere... we're all connected"

Unintelligible Gibberish. "[The Rally] will be played down and misinterpreted by the corporate media"

"when unions, political ideology, labor, civil rights come together, and just people who are progressive enough to see this one world concept, that we're all in this together, it makes certain things pretty easy to understand where we're coming from."

"[Gibberish] ... Nuclear Annihilation". "Vote Kucinich - Create a Department of Peace"

Told them to threaten "picketing or protests" to make it clear that, as "anyone who has passed the tenth grade knows, you can't win a war in Afghanistan."

Saying that "The president has to do something about jobs immediately. Trillions(?) have lost them" - bearded guy in background starts "thumb clapping" like he's appreciating beat poetry.

Then says that it's Obama's failure to listen to them (the "far left") that has made his approval ratings sink, and that it's their (the congregation of socialists) responsibility to make him listen.


Overall a typical Marxist "Class Warfare" position, confident that they have all the answers and that they should be given authority to implement them world-wide, dissenters be damned - it's for their own good after all.

I could say something mean about him, his ideology, his crowd, his district, the institution of democracy, the Conyers dynasty, or the notion of representation by popular vote, but I'll leave that to people who care about what statists do.

And how Owellian can you be, actually proposing a "Department of Peace"?
