Does anyone know where I can find how many times Ron has been the sole "nay" vote on something?

In any event, Mr. Young now has seven lone no votes in the current Congress, putting him behind only Representative Ron Paul (33 times) among House members.

Sure,

You can check out my "Why I Love Ron Paul" thread I started here at RPF.

I think I found 13 or 14. You can add to it if you find more.

There's 33 total. You have 20 to go... :D

I'm sure the number would be far higher if we're counting things he voted against that received fewer than 10 nay votes, and higher still if we're counting things that received fewer than 50.

So did RP just not vote on those 7 votes that Young was the sole lone vote on? I can't see RP voting to congratulate a sports program.

Sure, but being the sole No Vote is far more impressive than being among 9 others. This shows Ron has the courage to STAND ALONE.

No, Ron Paul has been the Sole NO vote 33 times in congress.

He voted to congratulate a sports team before I know, which I guess is beneath Congress but so long as they're not doing any harm it's better than them voting on anything else.

He votes for those all the time. Not a big deal since it doesn't actually do anything.
