View Full Version : Is anyone here (or does anyone know someone) saving up for a $2000+ donation?

I am thinking of setting up a website that tries to get 50 people to sign up to donate $2000+ at the exact same minute on November 29th, in order to give Ron Paul a last $100k boost for November.

I would like to get a preliminary count of the viability of this idea.

I like the idea of getting the money to him now

How viable it is just depends on if you can find 50 people with $2000 to donate at that time.... chances are, you won't find them exclusively on this board, especially as people on here tend to donate as the funds are available.

Hmmm...it might indeed be hard to spread awareness of this...

But we'd just need 50 people, and we'd have almost 50 days.

I can barely save up to go to the movies... I send my money in as soon as my paycheck hits the bank :) I'm going to jump the gun a little and send in my $25 on the 20th this week though.

Me too. He needs it now for big pushes in the important states.

I think that there are going to be plenty of people pulling together at the same time on that one. There is a Republican debate scheduled for November 28th, and I'd wager that it's going to be the most watched one of the season given the holiday weekend. Dr. Paul is going to have a huge day on November 29th as it is...
