What impact will Ron Paul have on the Republican race for the White House?

He's going to win the nomination.
226
He won't win the nomination, but he'll be a big factor by drawing votes in a crowded field.
6
He won't win the nomination, but he'll move the conversation on Iraq and other subjects.
4
Not sure.
4
He'll have no impact. He's an Internet phenomenon which won't translate into votes.
1
Total Vote: 241

Owned.

not scientific, the same disclaimer should be added to the debates themselves. For entertainment purposes only. Or before every FOX broadcast.

I laughed when I read this in the article:

Contrast Huffines with the stereotypical Paul supporter -- young, perhaps bearded male, who seems likely to attend a rally on a college campus. But everyone is welcome in Ron Paul's tent.

*hahaha* They had a photo on the front page of this story of a giant poster with thousands of photos of REAL Ron Paul supporters in it (almost all of whom are just regular clean-cut folks), yet they went ahead and stereotyped his supporters as being "young, perhaps bearded male." Too friggin' ironic and funny!

Once we overwhelm a poll, then let's stop voting in it. The way it currently is right now is fine but people will start to think we "hacked" or "spammed" it if it has 6,345 votes for Ron Paul and 12 against. Keep an eye on it and those who haven't yet voted cn always go back in to boost it up.

I work from home, so I find myself bearded and unshaven quite regularly.
BUT
I ALWAYS shave before I go out to hit the streets and hand out Ron Paul information to the people!
THUS
I probably would shave 1/5th as often if Ron Paul was not running for President.

Republican or Revolutionary?

I guess that's a better set of choices than "Howard Dean, or Ralph Nader?" from the other day...

Wow, that really was a pretty well-done article. Thanks OP.

I was particularly impressed with the fairness of the reporting on RP's earmark voting record. No spin. Well educated, factual discussion. Nice.

Post a comment, thank them for their well balanced article, but mention that most Paul supporters do not sport beards and that we are diverse and do not like being stereotyped.

"The idea that the only way you can get re-elected is to bribe your way in is a myth," said Leslie Paige of the nonpartisan Citizens Against Government Waste."

This thing they call Leslie Paige could be an effective spokesman for the LP and secure .05% support in an election. You can win by allowing your voters to have their money taken by the federal government and not work to have any of it returned to them. Paul has to at the very least play by the rules even if he doesn't like them.

Hit me dead on, I am a young bearded male who will most likely attend a rally at a college.
