So, Glen had this truck that wasn't being used. He mentioned to me how he wished he had the time to paint up some signs and use it for a campaign truck. I thought, "Well, I could use a truck, I can paint signs," and I never did get a chance to tool around in one of them RP '08 trucks I so admired... So, I mentioned this all to Glen and soon enough paint was purchased, plywood dug out, and we got to work

They were pretty much done this am so I stopped and got some u-clamps and bailing wire to attach them to the ladder rack and ended up with this.

Still need to highlight the red bits better...

I kinda like the bumper stickers, as well

Please help if you can... Every little bit helps.

Awesome grassroots effort!

I had already made non-refundable (and can't really afford) plans to be out of town this weekend.

Would rather be in Franklin truthfully. Hope to see ya'll on the next weekends as time and gas funds allow.

If not I'll have to settle for sending the FRNS next weekend.

Good job. Great truck. Now go find someone with a flat or out of gas and get there vote! :D

This truck has been through good times and bad. This is the BEST. Never thought my old S-10 would look this good!

:) - It took a bit of cleaning up after sitting for so long, but runs great

It is, I take it for coffee in the morning and hang out in the parking lot sipping my joe and talking to folks. Took it to the DOT yesterday to check on signs the roadcrews have picked up. (Found no Bradley signs at that facility, lots of others, and a fair mix of real estate/yard sale signs...). I'll be using it for the canvass today... I park it in the most visible place when going anywhere... Etc...

Those wire H-frames for signs are expensive, would the DOT let you salvage some?

Damn I use to have a '91 S-10. Got it from my father with 70k and took it up to 280k b4 the transmission started to go.

RPH....Are you up for making another sign? I stopped and got the okay for a sign on US 1 in Franklinton, right across from the hardware store. What size do you recommend? Richard will build the stand for the sign.

I did a few for BJ that were 4x8. You can get those pretty cheap at Home Depot/Lowes.

If we do 4x4 square we can get twice the signs. 4x8 has wind issues too. I could see a 4x8 in a few, very open places. Not many of those in this district.

4x2.5 and we could get 3 signs per sheet. hummm that's a lot of work painting tho, unless we just say we wanted to do say 9 signs or 8 signs, and then get a bunch of people over to help paint them....

Seems 4x2.5 will have the same size "BRADLEY" and be more like the yardsigns... Plus more signs...

Not till after a time period for owners people to retrieve them. Definitely recommended for people to check for recycling...

I brought the red bits out a bit with a white shadow. This was some canvass teams gathering yesterday...
