ARE they worried? When the presidents of DC's two most powerful conservative think tanks team up with America's most prominent cheerleader for war to jointly author a Wall Street Journal op-ed (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704483004575524763315951380.html) defending the United States' unfathomably colossal military budget, one suspects a bit of anxiety.

The tea party still hasn't taken a side on military spending.....everyone claims to be for less spending but no one has said where they'll cut it from. The 2012 election will be the deciding factor between the Republican party being fiscal conservatives or staying the way it's been and borrowing a trillion bucks a year to fund this foreign policy.

Why oh why do we need to spend more than the rest of the world combined. For all that money, we should be untouchable, and yet we are afraid of everything. We are just not getting our money's worth. We have the worst military in the world in terms of value/$.

The great, vast, overwhelming bulk of federal spending is in three areas:

SS/Medicare/Medicaid.

Interest on the debt.

The military/surveillance complex.

We're broke.

Spending on one or all of the above is going to stop, regardless of what anybody says or wants.

Our terms or the bankster's terms is the only question left.

If the tea party thinks that Govt spending is the devil himself domestically but somehow Govt has the Midas touch spending in war with foreign policy than the tea party is nothing more than douchers for the neocons..

the tea party better be consistant .....and yes consistant has a name....its Ron paul.
