I had to turn off the TV. These people make me want to vomit. I saw some jerk on FNC who was going on about needing more money for education and demanding redistributing of wealth.

I think this rally really goes to show the dangers of what happens when a society lacks an understanding of how aconomics works.

The things they talk about a fine - jobs for everyone, good education etc. but the means by which they think it should be done are what lead to socialism, corruption etc.

They think that the New Deal was a good idea. They think that the government simply spending hundreds of billions is a good idea. They think we've been living in a free-market economy. They think that giving everyone government jobs means that everything is all fine and dandy.

I don't think these people have bad intent, but their lack of understanding of basic economics is destroying America.

And what annoys me is how they think if you don't support jobs and good education, then you must support corporate welfare and hate the poor.

rally. It shows the unions are not as powerful as the individual voter but they are more organized on election day. Virtually every town employee in my town has the day off on election day to vote Democrat. Generally it is enough for them to skew elections but this year? Just get friends and family to vote, drive em if necessary and you can win anywhere.
