Jon Stewart's "Rally to Restore Sanity" has received a boost from no
less an authority than President Obama.

During a speech in Arlington, Obama gave a thumbs-up to Stewart's planned Washington rally
and those who exemplify the "sanity" it promotes.

"I was amused -- Jon Stewart, you know, the host of The Daily Show,
apparently he's going to host a rally called something like Americans
in favor of a return to sanity, or something like that," Obama said.

"And his point was 70 percent of the people -- it doesn't matter what
political affiliation -- 70 percent of folks are just like you.

They go about their business." (sticking their noses into other peoples business)

"They work hard every day." (digging up dirt on republicans)

"They're looking after their families." (the ones they didn't abort)

" They don't go around calling people names." (Like I called people teabaggers)

"They don't make stuff up." (especially like budget stuff)

"They may not be following every single issue," (too stoned)
because they just don't have time." (too busy blogging)

"But they are just expecting some common sense and some
courtesy in how people interact." (unlike the teabaggers)

"And having those voices lifted up is really important." (because I really love it when they cheer for me)
