The film Nero's Guests features rural journalist, P Sainath, going deep into the rural areas of India to cover farmer suicides brought on by debt induced from GMO seeds, inflation, western subsidies, and globalist world trade policies that favor large corporations.

There's was a recent hindi film based on this one called Peepli Live. It's not as good as this documentary, of course. Heck it doesn't even go in depth into the causes.

This documentary is one of the best ones I've seen in awhile. And yes, it is relevant to everybody on this planet including those in the United States. People can and do end up neglected and forgotten.
