what about contacting some of the more prominent well connected big donors (oracle chairman, kinko founder etc.) to ask them if they want to organize and host a fundraiser for ron paul where he can explain his philosophy to friends, family and buissness partners ?
i'm sure dr. paul would show up when 100 people want to pay 2300 bucks to see him ;)
someone well spoken could volunteer and try to persuade them - it might have a certain appeal to these people if they can organize and host such an event themselve - after all this is the ron paul way of thinking (and hopefully theirs).
is this a good idea / does someone feel up to the task ?
