Jack Conway took a few words so out of context for his social security scare ad it is hard to explain just how warped the implication is. The social security discussion starts at about the five minute mark, but it was part of a seamless discussion of how capitalism and free market drives down costs and is the most equitable system. Rand's wry remark that a two thousand dollar deductible might be effective but was never going to be implemented needs to be viewed in context.
