is expected out of Iraq around May of this year (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071017/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/us_iraq_blackwater;_ylt=AubRcf_rv2bOv3tC91OaEN.s0N UE), do you find it interesting that the US has announced
this eight billion dollar joint venture with Mexico (http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking_news/story/273442.html) to combat the war on drugs?

Two points: Where is Mexico going to get $7bill. to combat their second largest
export? Furthermore how many pesos/soldiers does that translate into?

The other thing relates to blackwater. The article states that no US soldiers will
be deployed though we will provide equipment and "training." Who is going to
be providing this training and will it take place in static environments like the
countryside or something, or will it take place in the field?

What methods are available to help trace the shifting of blackwater assets/personel/etc.
out of Iraq? How can we trace what front merc. contracting forces spring up in the next few months?

Do you believe that this is a problem? Could "training" the Mexican
forces not also serve as "training" for mercenary armies/police forces?
Think about it. If done right, this could solve all the problems blackwater
has found establishing bases across the country, particularly in California.
Think Strategy and an integrated North America here.

Imagine how much money could be saved by constructing their bases
on the government's dime rather than their own...

Kinda like how when president Bush told the President of Spain that
he didn't want to accept Saddam's exile offer because going to war
with Iraq was going to "save us $50 billion." Who will save you might ask?

If we know the war was for oil, b/c the oil companies and their stooges
had Iraq in their strategic and ideological crosshairs long before 9/11, then one must
assume they planned on taking over one way or another.

One way, which they figured would cost them $50 billion (on their dime)
and one way where the oil companies and banks and military industrialists
could pay themselves $50 billion dollars for the work they needed done
anyway.

Do you see the potential for the same type of situation playing out here as well?

I think you're being wildly speculative. I think it's really less simple. Blackwater is interested in profit and they plan on milking the government for it doing whatever they can.

On another note Erik Prince (founder of Blackwater) is a libertarian and support Pat Buchanan. source: charlie rose interview he just did, google it
