This is small change compared with the $27 billion coup they pulled in 1978, but still. The wording of the article reeks of "the fix is in".

It's probably nothing. The media like to lie about and smear Catholics, just as they like to lie and smear anyone who doesn't agree with their agenda - like Ron Paul.

But if it is something, which I think is unlikely, I suspect the Italian mafia are being it :p

there have been irregularities in the past, and yes... this bbc story may have no
connection to today's current events. there was also a similarly collapsed bank in 1975...
