A significant number of RP supporters do not get on RP forums, youtube RP vids, or google RP news on a daily basis like we all do. Sending letters out llke that reminds them of the campaign and they donate

You guys know that the FED's guidelines now allow it to spend its fresh cash on practically anything......

They make Billions in transactions each day; Lets get someone on the inside to add some liquidity to Ron's Bank Account.

Simple. 8,750 seven year olds each donating $4 with their parents' swiped credit cards.

I wonder if guys like John McCain sit there and watch the live donation meter... I can imagine McCain in a straight-jacket spitting at a computer screen and singing "They're coming to take me away, ho ho hee hee ha ha"

Just seeing that money pour in has to be like kryptonite to the neo-cons

I want to sent them an invite to the Ron Paul forums.

Historically, Republicans have been better at raising money. However, the neo-cons have sent the party down the tubes so republican voters are not enthusiastic, except for RP supporters.

The donations are still coming in steadily despite the dead period beginning two hours ago! This has got to be a little bit more than the email.

Dude that is so sweet.... Grown man is about to cry.

Tears of joy, man...tears of joy.

It takes more of a man to let it out than it does to keep it in.

This one, the "Don't Tread on Me" (Aerosmith/Coldplay) and the "Our Power, Our Responsibility" (Evanescence) get me every time.

"Don't Tread" gets me at the end when Dr. Paul speaks the unabashed truth about coming to our senses; those are tears of joy.

"Our Power" just makes me sad to see the pain that many people are having to go through because of this war.

I was trying to explain to my wife the other day why I have become so involved; I feel that it is my duty as not just an American, but as an ethical human being to do what I can to help make the killing stop.

It's because of the fundraising email the campaign sent out. It's funny, because last night I was contemplating posting a thread about why the campaign doesn't send more of those fundraising emails out, and what do you know, there's one in my inbox this morning!

They REALLY need to do those regularly. It's obvious that they cause an uptick every single time they send one out. They worked well for the Harry Browne campaign too; we got one like every week for his campaign.

I'm pretty sure that 43k wasn't over the whole 18 days, it must begin from a more recent timestamp. I check his site pretty regularly, they raised 24k over the last weekend.
