To be fair, it was the Zeitgeist movie that introduced me to the liberty movement and Ron Paul and the Fed banking cartel.

It's sad that Stefan Molyneux removed commenting from the video. He didn't address any of the main themes and was getting owned in the comments.

Zeitgeist movies are Marxism repackaged to appeal to the youth.

Zeitgeist 1 - man needs to emancipate himself from religion (which Marx argued for in On The Jewish Question).

Zeitgeist Addendum - machines will do all the work for us, thus creating a utopia where we all get to pursue fun stuff. Marx called for this, and in his words stated that the machines would reach "self actualization."

Zeitgeist is dangerous. It identifies the problems that exist (false-flag terrorism, evil central bankers), but promotes communism as the solution, not free-markets and personal liberties.
