The Neo-cons have found their messiah. Move over Sarah.....Chris Christie's impressive charisma and tough talk make him unbeatable.

The drumbeat has already started....Beck, Hannity, Levin et al.....all drooling over this bullying fat faker.....and creating buzz about him running for president....that alone should disqualify him in our eyes.

Even Oprah had him on!!!!

For all of his sound and fury....fatboy Christie has done nothing but cut a few crumbs from Jersey's budget. ...and he is allowing a regional cap n trade system to go into place.

He is quintessential North Eastern Republican...and if he goes national.....you can BET his foreign policy will be warlike and Zionist run.

The GOP nom is his for the taking...and he would cream Obama.

beware the fat man

He's suspect with Conservatives because he backed Castle over O'Donnell.

Exactly.

Fiscal conservatives need not get excited about Chris Christie. He is not a principed small government conservative at all.

I'm leery of any politician from the northeast. Goldwater specifically warned us of the northeastern establishment, who basically run the country along with their international contacts.

The American Conservative Magazine had an article on him recently. Google for it, it was a good read.

Christie is a more palatable Rudy Giulani with a larger waistline. Let's be truthful here. With that said, he's done a good job in a hopeless state like New Jersey.

According to Christie: "Not gonna happen."

Not Levin. He called Christie a "blowhard who likes youtube" (http://www.therightscoop.com/uh-oh-did-levin-just-call-christie-a-blowhard).

This is how I feel. The NE has been doing shady shit since the Civil War and before. If you think who benefits the most from the FED, and our monetary policy you only need to look to the NE. I would be amazed if we got any kind of real change from politicians from NE states. Maybe NH, they seem like honest bunch.

That sounds individualistic.

That sounds individualistic.

Dunno what that means? The NE as a whole then, if it makes you feel better. Obviously not everyone there. But if you go regionally...yeah the NE has been a very bad deal for freedom.

It is no coincidence that the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (City :D) alone possesses 5 of the 12 votes that determine monetary policy. From Boston to Greenwich to New York and down to D.C., it's all hopelessly rotten. It's undeniably the hub of power in this country. The financial corner on the Atlantic seaboard rules all.

Oh I have given it a lot of thought. How the money masters live it up while the average hardworking man toils and sweats for peanuts. The banking interests and the cartels are all centralized in the NE. This is why I can't see depending on politicians from those states doing the right thing when it comes to monetary policy.

They have tasted the fruits of corruption directly and they can't fathom the system operating in any other manner. I'm a native born New Yorker who lives 30 miles from the financial epicenter, and I can tell you that nothing good politically will come from the greater metropolitan area. I hate to be the harbinger of bad news.

I am living in Washington DC and I can attest to the fact that this town and all the tax leechers that crowd around it will never get government out of our lives. This is why I hate the growth of the welfare state and bureaucracy. It creates a class that preys on another.

he is probably good as a governor, some of these states need a hard ass to deal with the unions.

but president, even senator-no way. former federal prosecutor. that skews his mindset. just as career military would gives someone a military mentality.

Yeah, I really don't like the message Christie sent there. The guy was asking why she wasn't going to take questions from the crowd and Christie told him to shutup? And that people yelling are the people dividing this country, that we should all sit down and shutup? Screw that attitude.

I read that the guy shouted, to Whitman, "You look like Schwarzenegger in a dress," or something like that. And then Christie went over to him.

Right, I read that too, but he was previously yelling asking for her to take questions and asking why she wouldn't be taking any questions from the crowd. \

Ignoring that, I didn't care for what Christie said. That the people yelling are the people dividing this country? That we should sit down, shut up and be humbled that they are addressing us and fixing our problems? That we should have no say in things? Screw that. I've been a big defender and supporter of his, but the message he put forth in that stunt was the wrong one.

I'll give him credit for at least confronting the guy and not having a bunch of hired goons taze him.

Agreed.

When someone like Sofia says Christie is bad, I start thinking "maybe this guy isn't so bad- I need to take a look at him."

Chrisitie has been good at shrinking the budget in NJ. How is he on social issues? It remains to be seen. As of now we still have the draconian mandatory flu shot for preschoolers. He campaigned on more parental involment in vaccine issues yet has done nothing to address the one thing that pertains to me (and my 4 year old)

This is all part of the plan. Sofia actually works for the Christie campaign.
