Thanks!!! You know who else donated? Ron Paul's son & his wife.

I think they want this ad to be published! Especially to get back at the U-L neocons who wrote that nasty article about Ron.

P.S. clear your cache to see updated totals

Is this a grammatical error? "he opposed a launching a pre-emptive strike" ?

Great Ad though! :)

Grrrr. Someone really needs to fix this ad! If I was an anti-war voter (majority of New Hampshire), I'd assume "most troop donations" means he's pro-war!

Someone really needs to fix it so it explicitly says he is against the war!!! This makes me so uncomfortable! Now, when people hear the name "Ron Paul" they'll link "oh, another one of those war-mongering Republicans."

Gah.

DO NOT DONATE TO THIS AD UNTIL IT IS FIXED. WE WILL LOSE MORE VOTERS THAN WE'LL GAIN BECAUSE OF MISINFORMATION.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this. We ran 3 ads in the Union-Leader, 2 in the Concord Monitor, 1 in the Nashua Telegraph & 1 in the Valley News with a BIG, BOLD headline exclaiming Ron Paul is anti-war. So, all of the newspaper readers already know that anyway.

And if they don't, it says that right in the ad. Did you even bother to read it? Also, the U-L is a conservative, neocon paper. Not a liberal anti-war one.

Not sure if I agree or not. What do people think of this alternative headline

"Why is this anti-war republican getting more contributions from our troops than any other candidate?"

Might create some intrigue. I know a lot of marketing starts with questions like that.

Don't change a thing in the ad. It's perfect as is.

-Ron Paul has received more military donations than any other Presidential candidate.

That takes up a lot of ad space without explain what his stance on Iraq is.

What are you talking about? Look on the left. His stance is there.

This ad does not flow well. Some of the wording used is also off.

One example of a lesser problem;

"preemptive strike" was really a preemptive, unconstitutional war

Guys we need to get this funded - We have to win NH and this is something real.

A big thank you to Skiingff for putting this together - he has done a lot of hard work on this. Many of us I think argue and postulate on this forum quite a bit. Lets please stop bickering and fund this!

That needs to be fixed!

Also, considering that the buzz on Ron is his anti-war stance, I wouldn't be worried that people will be confused. This should help disconnect "support the troops" from "stay in Iraq" as more people realize that it's OK to be an anti-war conservative.

Considering our realization that we need to win NH, the fundraising is surprisingly slow. Come on yall. If we all planned on spending $5-10 per chipin, these things would be over-funded and would go alot smoother.

It updates whenever a contribution has been made. However, for me at least, I often have to clear my cache to be able to see the update.

At last check, we needed $709 more.

This Ad is perfect, IMO. Over emphasizing foreign policy may work well with Democrats and Independents, but it's not a great draw to a lot of republicans. Things like 'non intervention and no nation building' work better with them. This ad is outstanding IMO.
