They have one good idea and a whole slew of bad ones. Yay for improvement!!!

Allowing people to buy insurance across state lines is great, but some of that other stuff is downright scary.

5 stars for Mike Church!

I hate the unprincipled, uninspired GOP mopes so very much. I hate them.

I want a Private Option (http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=35801) and I want it now. Hardly surprising Paul couldn't get even one GOP cosponsor for HR 5444.

The plan does offer some of the alternative ideas the House Republicans would like to advance in the realm of federal regulation of health care, but it does not specifically spell out what the Republicans believe are the limits on federal regulation of health care.

The sad thing is that HR 5444 is what I would consider a "moderate" if not even liberal plan.

They can regulate the big healthcare corporations all they want, after all, a corporation is a creation of government, but they need to stay out of the people's business.

These idiots still don't get it.

If I lived in Boehner's district, I'd consider his loss necessary for better development of the herd.

Just saying.

I disagree. Cantor is worse.

I know. But talk about sending a message. Particularly if we retake the House, anyhow.

We can try primarying him in 2012, but it will take millions of dollars. Better to focus on other seats and gain enough people to vote in a better Speaker than Boehner.

This is a big opportunity for Ron Paul.

He should start leading a movement for "Repeal, NOT Replace." He can set himself apart from the pseudo-conservatives who dominate the party, win over some of those tea partiers who have been leary of him, and put other 2012 candidates in the position of having to say which side they're on, the repeal and replace side, or the repeal not replace side.

This should be his new major project on the scale of audit the Fed.
