Yahoo Headline:

Unusual worry for economy: Is inflation too low?

WASHINGTON (AP) -- It might seem like prices are rising wherever you look, from medical care to college tuition. Yet to the Federal Reserve, they might not be going up fast enough.

The Fed says a little more inflation might be just the thing to start a chain reaction that would ultimately create jobs -- and avoid a spiral of falling prices that could damage the economy.

Unusual worry for economy: Is inflation too low?

The Fed has already made it clear that it will not tolerate deflation, and its response to just about anything will be to print, print, print.

Gold is rising against all currencies, not just the dollar. Forex traders sometimes get lost seeing the euro rise against the dollar, the dollar rise against the yen, etc. but the reality is that they are all dropping, albeit at different velocities.

Yet on the short term I'd expect the dollar to stiffen a little bit, if only because a lot of the world is still duped into thinking it's a "safety currency".

Pretty soon their whole deal is going to flop in their face. People keep thinking our government can fix what they have been fuckin up for the last 70 years.

gold is rising but the dollar isn't really something to base anything on anymore.

Gold is money, and nothing else.

Some people know and understand this, many do not.

Learn, or be schooled.
