On September 22, Voice of America news and other media outlets cited material from Obama's Wars — a new book by Washington, D.C.-based journalist Bob Woodward — stating: “Key members of the Obama administration were divided about the president's Afghan war strategy, with some top national security advisors doubting Mr. Obama's plan will work.” by Warren Mass

I have to give Obama credit where credit is due- it seems like he really is trying to find a rational middle ground on a complex issue like Afghanistan.

According to two articles I've read on this, the authors see the book as a bunch of establishment apologetics and Woodward a sellout to them

What is complex?
We have no business being there. Get out.
Not complex at all.

True...Bush will always be remembered as the one responsible. But after two years and Obama's new defined strategy raising the stakes they are now his. Just as Johnson and Nixon played out Vietnam in two different ways.
