Momentum 6 weeks or so before the election. Where I have heard this before?

Grayson's spokesman Nate Hodson said he believes that Grayson's stronger first-quarter numbers are evidence that momentum is on Grayson's side heading into the final six weeks of the primary. To add weight to that argument, the Grayson campaign released a new internal polling memo that showed the race to be a statistical tie, with Grayson ahead of Paul 39 percent to 37 percent with 18 percent undecided. http://blogs.cqpolitics.com/eyeon2010/2010/04/grayson-wins-1st-quarter-fundr.html

And

“We’re running a well planned and methodical campaign designed to peak on Election Day,” said Grayson. “And we’ll continue to build on this momentum over the next 40 days.” http://cincinnati.com/blogs/nkypolitics/2010/04/08/grayson-releases-fundraising-numbers-internal-poll/

Grayson Receives Endorsements from U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Conservatives of America and The 60 Plus Association

Florence, Kentucky – Kentucky Secretary of State and Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Trey Grayson completed Day One of his 38-stop, 30-county Kentucky First Tour across the Commonwealth yesterday. Day Two of the tour kicked off this morning with stops in Oldham, Jefferson, and Hardin Counties. This afternoon the tour will visit Grayson, Edmonson, and Warren counties. Click here to view the complete schedule and details.

The Grayson campaign continues to build support and momentum heading into Election Day. Grayson recently announced the endorsements of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as well as Conservatives of America, an organization whose other endorsements include Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina and Marco Rubio of Florida.

Today, the 60 Plus Association endorsed Grayson, citing his support for protecting Social Security and Medicare and his pledge to work to repeal the death tax. Read the press release.

“We won’t be out-worked in this campaign. We’ll make 38 stops in 30 counties to rally our supporters and close out this race strongly,” said Grayson. “At each stop it becomes more and more clear that our momentum is growing.” http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=385608282477

Yeah, Conway isn't wrong. The polls show he has momentum: as in his campaign is circling the commode.

Really, what's the point to this story anyway? When has Conway ever not claimed momentum? When did Grayson not as well? The answer to that is after Grayson lost the primary. I guess Conway may be willing to tell voters the truth about the status of his campaign only after losing it seems.

Also, what "dead heat" is Joe Arnold's headline talking about? Being down 7 (PPP), 15 (Rasmussen) and 15 (SurveyUSA) isn't a "dead heat" unless you're simply trying to give the appearance of a tight race for ratings purposes.

Watch the video. Joe Arnold seems somewhat unpersuaded by Conway, but SUSA is apparently polling again TODAY.

attorney general jack conway has an obvious M.O

in his campaign he's often surrounded by men

and if he goes thru tons of tums in a days time

M.O + MEN + TUM(s) = SOME CONWAY MOMENTUM?
