That was the closest Ive seen him to 2012. The tides are shifting in his favor, but he is right, let the 20-30 jerk offs announce first and he can pull a mid season highly anticipated Fred Thompson style entry.

yeah but fred did so well but then again so did "9-11, terrorist, 9-11" as well as damn mccain

they raise em up, see who bites then move to the next until they see a high % that dig em, fit them into a pretty little package and sell it to the rest.

in this next election we will see MANY candidates propped up for a week or two and the media will find out who has decent odds are prop the shit out of em

can't wait to watch fox and who all they are going to push

I mean sarah palin is probably the most fundamental constitutionalist of our time, am I right guys?

Part of the problem is that many people still do not know about Ron Paul. The period during which he sits out might cost him valuable voter exposure. But a hold out might create a lot of fuss and its own sort of publicity. When you say "mid season," what kind of date are you thinking of?

Does anyone know how late one can announce and still get on the early primary ballots?

It depends on each individual state's requirements.

I think this is the closest Ron Paul has came to saying publicly that he will make a 2012 presidential bid.

"Not quite ready to declare...In time it'll come about"

"If we are anywhere close to a dollar crisis, I know one thing, I'm gonna wanna speak out on it."

"Absolutely. It's [the door] wide open.
