Seriously, he would spend 4 years busting his butt to correct the system, while everything comes crashing down. Then after he takes many measures to fix it all the people see things getting worse not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. He goes down in history as a terrible president. Slowly prosperity returns and the next president gets to take credit for the policies that corrected the mess in the first place.
