I'm not a fan of Chris Matthews, but this clip is pretty awesome.

Newsbusters finds this “truly shocking (http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2010/09/20/matthews-scolds-obama-stop-saying-cutting-taxes-giving-people-money-its-their-money)” moment featuring MSNBC’s Chris Matthews who said:

“Stop saying that giving people tax cuts is giving people money. It`s their money!”

Yeah that really is odd. Glad to see that though. Maybe it'll get some more people thinking who might not hear that very often.

Remember, folks, as liberal Chris Matthews appears to be these days, he did indeed vote for Goldwater.

Chris Matthews was a big fan of Goldwater when he was young.
He got old and became a liberal.

Good interview for Ron...

Interesting that Matthews says "libertarians always say no gay marriage, no abortion."

To the Left, libertarians are social conservatives.
To the Right, libertarians are social liberals.

Although I am *very* surprised by Mathews' statement here... if anything, this really shows the mentality and view that Obama and other Government / Statist agents hold... that you and your labor *are wholly owned by the State* and that you do not own yourself nor the fruits of your labor - and that any money you make, or your property - the government *allows you to keep*, like a parent giving their children allowance - and they can raise it or lower it whenever they want, for whatever reason - if they are bold enough.

It's really, utterly, truly sick.

If anyone can stomach watching a few episodes of Hardball, they'll learn that Matthews is not a cheerleader for the left wing. He's someone that knows a LOT about our country's political history, and has relationships with many of the current and past representatives we've elected. He does have very deep insight into the complicated world of elections and politicking, and clearly he knows and cares more about those subjects than he does about policy.

I've heard him make some very astute arguments before, but then again I've also heard him say things that make me want to vomit. I've come to the conclusion that he is not a puppet of any party, like Hannity is to the right. He simply thinks differently than I do, and has had different experiences than I have to lead him to where he is now.

All that said, he needs to learn to stop interrupting people. You'd think that after doing that job for so long, you'd learn the rhythm of an interview/conversation- half of his interviews are him asking multi-part questions over and over again while someone tries feebly to answer over his rambling voice.
