Romney's in first place with 22% followed by Mike Huckabee at 21%, Newt Gingrich at 18%, Sarah Palin at 17%, and Ron Paul at 6%.

Mitt Romney is going to be the opposition. I do not think Palin can break 30%, even in the GOP primaries, so what we need to do is bash Romney and Gingrich, and get conservatives to unite behind Paul as opposed to Palin. Huckabee is another place where we can get conservatives by bashing his smoking and tax stances.

I am thinking about starting up a PAC in order to be the "attack dog" to support Paul.

look, if we are sitting at six percent next December, then I might start to doubt. But that is well over a year away. Who cares. The numbers are well more than double national polls last time around. I am plenty happy.

Hey guys, I don't know about y'all, but if roughly 12 million people(basing off of 6% of 200,000 adult americans) choose Ron Paul on a poll of multiple candidates..I'd say..JOB WELL FUCKING DONE

12 million people is a LOT of people

6% in a Republican primary.

Ron Paul got 5.7% of the vote nationally in the 2008 GOP primary and it was good for 1.2 million votes.

To be fair, many of those votes come from later primary states where Ron Paul was the only option besides McCain (or the only option with an active campaign). This means lots of those votes are simply "not-McCain" in the 2008 primaries.

0%

We are now at 6%... the campaign hasn't even started!

Folks this ain't bad at all, and I wouldn't be surprised if the number is a little higher given some of the tactics used last time around while poling. Believe it or not, but hell Ron wasn't hardly even polling even after his big moneybomb in November or the one in December for that matter in national polls much less 6%. This is a much larger base to work from and within than what we had last time. We can easily grow that number more exponentially than we did last time because we have a larger pool to work from. Don't give up folks, give em hell!!

I'm in it because I am not loyal to any of the idiots they are going to push on me. I follow Dr. Paul like a lost sailor follows the north star.

Keep in mind, McCain wasn't much better than that a year before last election....and he was a sliver away from becoming president.

I think with Rand helping, and record-breaking moneybombs, and the debates, and Freedom Watch, and new liberty congressmen backing Ron, he'll do 20 times better than in 2008.

PPP polling AKA Romney Neocon Central

Forget the polls... Paul will score low in all of the "Fuck You Frank Lutz" polls. Ron is a threat to the quasi Fascist/Corporatist controlled game and Establishment Aristocracy. The mighty, Central Bankers, DOD's Military Industrial Complex and AIPAC with ensure he stays in single digits. Look for more of 2007/2008 same depredation by all media hacks and MSM.

You want a chance... you better fight as dirty as possible and with a fury, because politics is a dirty filthy, sleazy game, and all involve, want the power and control of those Trillions and Trillions.

Sigh. I really hope we don't go back into "the polls are a conspiracy!" mode again like in 2007 and 2008. The polls weren't wrong. If anything, I remember Rasmussen saying Paul was at 14% and 11% in New Hampshire right before the primary in that state came and Paul got 8%.

I don't know about the polls, but I'm always leery of the voting process.

I was there, saw it with my own eyes, the recount in NH, the ballots left out overnight in open, unlocked rooms, the boxes of ballots coming in from across the state with evidence seals loose, missing or peeling off and so on.

Yeah but the Press and Corporate Media was so bad... RPF had an entire subsection on "Bad Reporting Media on Ron Paul" and their were 100's of threads and 1000's of posts.

I was downright sabotaging first hand of a candidate. I'll never forget Ron's excellent debate and CNN's Jefferey Tobin's first remark: "Ron Paul is the Crazy Uncle that lives up in your attic that you don't want anyone to meet"

Then there's FAUX NEWS and their entire destructive ZIO-Klan...

Expect and prepare for the worst, then you come out ahead. Remember, MONEY BUYS the MSM/PRESS. Advertise on their stations and you get less criticism and more neutral/favorable coverage.
