Police against freedom of the press. This could be interesting if the charges aren't dropped and it goes to court.

Dumb cop didn't know MSM reporters are off limits.

Also note the cop was black and the cameraman was white, will the minstrel twins (Jackson and Sharpton) speak out about this?

This was October 2008? What was the final result? Did the reporter get his disorderly ticket dismissed? Was the cop ever charged with assault?

If I were to randomly walk up to you (you, the person reading this) and attempt to choke, handcuff, and kidnap you, would you not have the right to resist with whatever level of force necessary to protect your life and liberty?

The way cops throw around disorderly conduct, and myriad other easily concocted charges, I wonder how difficult it'd be to cite this as one's defense.

Always carry a camera with a microphone. Record every encounter with police. It is often your only defense.
