WTF is he doing with his hair?

Transplants? Dyes?

He was thin to the point of bald and as white as a sheet last time I saw him.

That said, douche douche douche...I'd rather drive nails into my skull than listen to that clown.

Maybe he's going for the Joe Biden look. I dare say it suits him, both inside and out. ;)

This is along with Politically Incorrect are/were some of the pest political shows on tv. I just enjoyed the spirited debates they would have.

CRAZY level of ignorance on Real Time with Bill Maher.....

I'm one of those conspiracy guys, I don't think it's actual ignorance, I think it's a persistent agenda. ;)

I remember saying how much a douche-nozzle this guy was, and having people on this forum defend him. I really couldn't believe it. I figured they simply and severely lacked discernment.

Blah. Blah. Blah. Tea baggers should be happy that the top tax rate of 91% under Dwight Eisenhower isn't currently in effect. Little Billy forgot to mention the damaging effects of inflation on home prices, wages and everything else. He also forgot to mention the multitude of auxiliary taxes which accompany the federal income tax.

91% taxation on income? How did that even work? By the time even large businesses finished expenditures and personal spending they'd be in the red every time.

For a while, combined tax rates for the highest bracket was over 100%, like 105%. Needless to say, that didn't work out very well. What really happened was a huge amount of exemptions, and the highest tax bracket at the time made over a million dollars. The lower portion of their incomes weren't taxed at that rate, so they were still making some money.

Interesting. Rand did write that in a free/voluntarily funded civilization, only the wealthy would need to pay anything & would donate very substantially in exchange for the obvious benefits. A tax code, however, that literally charged people "everything plus a 5% penalty" for lucrative earnings would have greatly encouraged businesses spreading out & working deals under the table, and probably contributed to the web of corporate/conglomerate power & government collusion w/ industry that we lament in present day.

I actually like Bill Maher. He's just utterly clueless when it comes to economics.

It would be awesome to see Peter Schiff or Ron Paul on the actual panel educating these smug ignoramuses, instead of just being a guest. That would make this show worth watching.

Yes, or how about Thomas E. Woods, Walter Williams, Thomas Dilorenzo, Judge Napolitano. They would be floored by having an actual intellectual on the panel. I hate these Bush-era republicans like David Frum they always invite on the show.
