I'm not sure of the legal implications of his citizenship in Singapore but he was born in Alabama.
That said, I don't think he's much of a "people person."

If Jim ran from the start as an INDY it might help Ron Paul. Billionaire runs as an Indy scares the GOP and says he will drop out if RP wins the GOP nod.

Doesn't want to waist his time. He has more important things to do, like making billions and raising his daughters. I'd pick billions of dollars and children over 300 million ungrateful shit heads who don't deserve the help.

It would be better if Jim Rogers thwarted his old partner Soros, by funding some principled libertarian responses to Moveon.org etc.

Jim hates politics.
Why should he run for president? He's got a good thing going over in Singapore, and will watch the US collapse from the sidelines, just like Doug Casey.

That is really not a bad idea. Doesn't seem right though. I don't think people would vote for Ron if they are threatened with a loss for their candidate. They usually pick the candidate they like and that's that.
