Yes, as idiotic as it may sound, this could be the big news story in your town. Here we are drinking milk on the steps of the capitol in Madison. These two dairy farmers were recently raided by the state for dealing in raw milk. Even California allows such. I do not like milk and none of my children have ever seen me drink a glass of milk, but I did this to support these two farmers and fellow Americans and to show this Wisconsin bureaucracy how ridiculous this is.

It's illegal here in Florida too.

The only way to get it is to buy it as "pet milk". They can't advertise it as consumable by humans.

When i lived in PA as a kid i had fresh cow milk. My daughter has NO idea what milk fresh from a cow tastes like. sad. Id really like to have some of that thick cream off the top for my coffee.

QUOTE]

A couple of years ago at the "Ronstock" event before the "Rally for the Republic" I had raw milk for the first time in my life. Completely different from the bland milk you buy in stores. Now I know why my parents, who grew up on dairy farms drinking raw milk, can't stand the store bought stuff.

It's insane to outlaw it- if people are willing to live with the minimal "risk" of drinking it, they should be allowed to do so.

Whenever I go home to PA we get fresh milk right at the small-farm Dairy that makes it. They make the best damn chocolate milk and egg-nogg I have ever had. An in-law of mine is married to a General in the Army, and whenever he comes home he'll drive 2 hours from their farm just to buy jugs of the chocolate milk they make.

Fresh milk is hard to beat.

I confess, I don't think I've ever had raw milk in my life...but I'm curious how the taste differs. :)

No. You don’t understand. We must outlaw all risk in society! ;)

Except for poverty, lack and death by government jack boots.

Take two vanilla milkshakes of reasonable quality (Not McDonald's partially frozen gelatinous gum based beverages).

Take one and taste it.

Then take the other, add about 50 percent water, boil it for an hour, then refreeze it.

That's about the difference.;)

Weird, some of the states you would think would have outlawed it, NY and CA for instance, while others that would not come to mind, have, Montana for instance.

NH FTW, again.
