I used to have a red Ron Paul R3volution stamper just like that one. One day, I think I stamped something like thirty or forty bills with it. It's a longshot of course, but you may have picked up one of those very bills!

When Ron Paul was running, I literally wrote different pro-Paul
messages on the edges of approximately 1,000 one dollar bills.
The three messages that I can remember writing were:

"This $1 bill has the purchasing power of 4¢ compared to a $1 bill
from 1913, the year the FED was created. www.RONPAUL2008.com"

"Ron Paul received more donations from active military than all of
the other republican candidates combined. www.RONPAUL2008.com"

"Ron Paul has never voted for an unbalanced budget.

nah, i took 3grand out the bank and deposited back over 2 weeks at my bank at different locations. we should all do this in 2012.

Seriously, I think this is a great idea! And we have nothing to lose! Just withdraw a couple grand (or whatever you have!) and stamp them all, then redeposit!

Too bad the powers at the Federal Reserve will probably attempt to shut us down by destroying the stamped bills and issuing new ones... :(

But if we can get thousands of Ron Paul supporters to do this to thousands of $1 bills, thats 1000 people * 1000 one-dollar bills = 1 million one-dollar bills. That'd be awfully difficult for the Fed to track down.

Depositing money back into a bank is one of the worst ways to get the money in circulation, especially $10s, $5s, and $1s, which get the most mileage anyway.

Unless it's a Friday, the $5 and $1 bills are probably left untouched since most people either make withdrawals of even money $20s or cash checks and leave the odds and ends in their account.

For example:

Someone has a check for $1248.43 from working for a week. They take it to the bank, deposit it, and take out $100-200 in spending cash. The only bills that would be moved are $20s or $100s, unless the customer asks for something else.

Regardless, this could be a good way to brand Ron Paul's name for 2012 and onward. I would suggest going to banks and asking for a stack of 100- $1 bills, stamping them, then spending them as you would normally do. $1 bills get seen by multiples more people than $100s, $50s and $20s, and even $5s and $10.

also the bank may take the bills out of circulation because of the stamp.

I bought a Ron Paul stamp but the ink would bleed completely through the bill. Also, I think it may
be illegal to deface the printed part of currency. (That was my reason for writing messages along the
edge.) I didn't deposit off my $1 bills at my bank. I would either unload them when shopping, going
out to eat, & vending machines.
