The groundfire of windmills in Texas is the result of true deregulation of the electric companies (not like the false deregulation of California).

The most advanced societies in the world are also the least polluters.

Once the US stops subsidizing oil, alternative fuels will take over quickly.

the free market can support anything thats most cost effective.

if human activities do cause global warming (which i doubt), then at some point, green energy will become more cost effective than petroleum based energy, either because of the environmental costs or because of the fact that naturally occuring petroleum cant last forever.
