View Full Version : HFCS name change and Castro statement - coincidence?

Anyone here think it is quite coincidential that after Castro made his statement about the communist model not working for them anymore, the corn lobby tried to change it from HFCS to "corn sugar"?

My guess?

The corn lobby sees that there might be changing coming around in Cuba which could lead to a different embargo policy. The result would be cheap sugar imports into the US. HFCS is used so widely due to sugar being expensive because the #1 source for sugar in this hemisphere is illegal thanks to our government.
