If you've been following the news, you saw that the Republican establishment is melting down because supposed "tea party" candidate Christine O'Donnell won the nomination over the establishment candidate. There was all sorts of fracas about it, and the Republican establishment said they wouldn't fund her.

The response has been shocking. At the time of this posting, she's raised $800k, and it's still going...

Anyone know anything about this woman? The establishment tried pretty hard to paint her with the ugly brush, and now democrats are taking their turn.

She'll need it and more... the National Marxist/Socialist Party AKA the Democrats are pushing a big rallying cry and push for every liberal to vote against Christine O'Donnell.

The RINO National Party has this policy... if she gets within a few percentage points of the Democratic Kook, then the Neocons will throw money Christine's way.

How's that for your "Republican PARTY"?

She sure looks like Julia Louis-Dreyfus in some of her pics. Elect her and seat her next to Al Franken!

If Linda McMahon is closing in, she can do it too.

If the Repug establishment (esp Rove) is dead against her, you know something about her is good.

I would cringe less at her winning just to give the middle finger to the GOP establishment.

I don't know anything about her, and frankly don't care. I'd rather see a Democrat win than an establishment puppet. Whatever happens, I'm satisfied with the outcome at this point. In the long run, the Republican establishment has to react to this in a way that favors my politics.

I don't know anything about this woman. She's served her purpose, and as far as I'm concerned, she's Delaware's problem now.

Maybe this is a smear from the media..but I heard she wanted to make masturbation illegal.

Ohh...woops, guess not.

And I thought Sarah Palin was an idiot. Sarah, please accept my apologies. You are a tower of intellect compared to this woman.

She's also pro-war, anti-abortion, and anti-immigrant.

She never said Masturbation should be illegal, to be fair. I don't care what her personal views are as long as she doesn't legislate them. I just have yet to figure out her foreign policy, she has no details about it on her website. Could it be that the GOP knows she is non-interventionist and that is why they oppose her? If she is anti-war, I would support her. We need every seat we can get to deny Obama money in Afghanistan and every seat we can to say no to war with Iran.

In 2006, she said we should consider war with Iran.

The three Republican candidates agreed that Iran, which Western governments fear is intent on developing nuclear weapons and which has close ties to Shiite leaders in Iraq, has benefited from the war in Iraq. Ms. O’Donnell was the only candidate, however, to assert that the U.S. should consider military action against Iran. “You can’t negotiate with the devil,” said Ms. O’Donnell, who also asserted that China has a “carefully thought out and strategic plan to take over America.”

A War with Iran along with a continued war in Afghanistan would cost us more money than cap and trade. Definitely not worth it.

Somebody perusing this board recently could easily come to the conclusion that RPFers never get laid and spend their days in their moms' basements wanking it to images on 4chan. It is fairly amusing how upset many have gotten over somebody explaining their religious belief against masturbation.

I don't use 4chan, and don't live in my mom's basement, so there.

I don't care what her religious beliefs are as long as she doesn't try to legislate them. She looked pretty young then so she may have even changed her views from that time. Most people do. I'm more concerned with her views on foreign policy and civil liberties. The liberal MSNBC is going to start flinging more mud her way to see what sticks like they tried with Rand Paul. I too would be more inclined to vote for her just to give a finger to the establishment. :D
