LOL!

Like a hungry dog the NRSC/GOP will not turn down a meal ticket that gets them the majority.

Remember, it's all about power and control inside the DC Beltway

Exactly. What are the options?

"Don't vote"

"Vote for the Republican"

"Vote for the Democrat"

GOP is confused - I am sure they decided to back her only after they got blowback for not backing her.

Establishment is screwed at this point no matter what they do. Voters are feeling their power and exposing the Insiders as the spineless wusses that they are.

They decided to back her when Hannity and Limbaugh started courting the Tea Party and backing her, even having her on Hannitys show. They have been all over this showdown for a coupla weeks. (I know, I know, I listen to them in the work truck because I would rather listen to talk radio than the same '70s song that have been in rotation since the '80s :D)

And I'm all for that. The political system needs an enema.

Their initial reaction resulted in a mad rush of donations. She probably told them to kick her some more.

Hell no. We're just watching the in-fighting from the sidelines.

Yeah, its good just to watch the establishment candidate lose regardless of who their opponent is.

Well, the GOA may have had something to do with all of this.

Here is an email I received today:

Great News: National Republicans Now Pledging to Support O'Donnell in Delaware!

Wednesday, September 15, 2010 (update)

Hopefully, you have already seen our earlier alert from today, relaying the good news about pro-gun candidates around the country.

In Delaware, Christine O'Donnell upset the Washington establishment by defeating the anti-gun Mike Castle, who is one of the most liberal Republicans in the Congress.

Last night, the National Republican Senatorial Committee indicated there would be no money for O'Donnell, and so we asked you to pound Sen. John Cornyn to demand that he reverse course.

Well, Fox News is now reporting that things have changed, as the NRSC has done an about face after getting "peppered" by angry constituents. The NRSC is now singing a different tune. Here's what a Congressional newspaper, The Hill, is reporting in our nation's capital today:

[Sen. John] Cornyn said that O'Donnell, the conservative insurgent candidate who upset Rep. Mike Castle last night in the Delware GOP Senate primary, would have the NRSC's backing like any other Republican Senate candidate.

"Let there be no mistake: The National Republican Senatorial Committee -- and I personally as the committee's chairman -- strongly stand by all of our Republican nominees, including Christine O'Donnell in Delaware," Cornyn said in a statement.

The chairman of Senate Republicans' campaign efforts said he'd spoken Wednesday morning to O'Donnell and informed her of the NRSC's support, which included the maximum allowable $42,000 in direct donations to her campaign.

This is huge! Especially, considering that the NRSC had earlier indicated it would NOT help O'Donnell in her race to win "Joe Biden's" seat in the general election.

Thank you all for your activism!

In the New Hampshire primary, early returns gave Ovide Lamontagne the edge toward victory. But in late vote counting, the totals have switched and now he is currently behind by less than 1,000 votes.

GOA will continue to update gun owners around the country as to how these hot races are shaping up. To stay current, please be sure to visit www.goapvf.org .

And, if you are not yet a member of the organization called "the only no compromise gun lobby in Washington," please consider joining GOA today for a minimum contribution of only $20 at http://gunowners.org/ordergoamem.htm.

If she is for repealing Obamacare I will toss her some $ it's worth it for me to do so. It's a big issue for me, I am willing to put my money on the line to see it taken care of. I don't mourn the loss of another Rhino really. If she is an improvement then I hope she wins.

Is she a legit tea party candidate worth supporting?

I guess that depends on your definition. If you want to support a theocrat, she look's like your gal. If you are a libertarian, though, she's not a good choice.

I'm just wondering if her first bill will be to end porn or end masturbation in the USA- or maybe both.
