Ok I really wish people would quit talking about Colbert, he is a comedian, and he is not going to be the next president.

Any Ron Paul supporters that would support him must just be part of the sheeple as well, because while I myself like Colbert, he would fall right in line with the neo-conservatives. I absolutely don't believe he would not do what some neo-cons told him to do.

Look, the person Stephen ColbERT, who is himself an admitted liberal, plays a neo-con CHARACTER named Stephen Colb(air)ert. You see?

Colbert is coming down on your side here. Think THiNk THINK about it.

I would vote for Ron Paul, because he is actually a serious candidate, and is qualified for the position. People are taking the Colbert thing WAY too seriously.

Colbert is just doing this as a joke...Ron is actually trying to fix this country

Colbert pulls votes away from Giuliani, Thompson, and Romney. Paul's votes are guaranteed from supporters. We should get him to run in NH and Iowa too.

I just voted.

It is a stupid poll. I do think that Ron Paul's interview with Colbert was a good interview though.

We should spam the polls with this too if they are doing it. :-)

I bet all you have to do is go to tools and internet options and delete cookies and delete files and you could probably vote over and over again. I don't think it is worth it though. This is a stupid poll.

No kidding, not a serious candidate.

Check this out: http://youpolls.com/details.asp?pid=726#cid619title Based on this poll, it seems that just over 2/3rds of people polled would vote for Stephen Colbert over Ron Paul.

OUCH! I happen to think Ron Paul is the best Republican candidate, based on the issues. We know the mainstream media is against Ron, but we shouldn't take it online too. After all, that's where we CAN make a difference.

Go to: http://www.youpolls.com/details.asp?pid=726 and vote for Ron.

Go Ron Paul! Sorry Steve :)

Re: Who would you vote for in 2008 for...
I would never vote for Ron Paul. He is a fraud.

People amaze me some times. How can the only genuine GOP candidate be seen as a "fraud"?

LOL

Based on the comments on that poll I dont think that people even realize that Colbert is playing a fictional character on that show.

Now is it the character, stephen colbert running, or the REAL PERSON, stephen colbert running? Is he going to act like on the show, or is he going to be seriously? I assume the former. This is just a joke, i don't think hes ACTUALLY going to pull away votes from Ron, regardless of what that online poll indicates. (its a joke poll, obviously, lol)

This thing is all over facebook. By the way Ronald Reagan started as a comedian.

I think we need to always rally our own base, look out for our own.
