While I disagree with Ron Paul on the nature of homosexuality, I could never even conceive of "voting" for another person for president.

In fairness, in my sociological studies, I have seen good evidence for both biological and environmental contributing factors to developing same sex preferences... I believe it is a combination of and not exactly the same cause from case to case...
In informal studies, 90% of homosexual men admitted that their first sexual experience was with a man, and over half of those experiences were not by choice... The sample consist of 100 men in central Louisiana using qualitative measuring techniques... but showed a high recurrence rate among gay men 18-50.

Thing is, I have observed Dr. Paul for a long time, and I think his opinion is based on compassion more than anything else. That and he truly is a libertarian at heart, and a libertarian politician (an honest one anyway) is not going to make an "official" statement about a moral issue because it's not his place to do so.

Hopefully, Gore won't run then.

Phelps has been a a fundraiser for Gore in the past.
