Tommy Thompson stumps for Ed Thompson!
Former Gov. Tommy G. Thompson made a plug for his brother as he campaigned Monday for lieutenant governor candidate Brett Davis.
“The state Senate will never be the same," if Ed Thompson is elected, the former governor said. "My brother is going to be a breath of fresh air for the state Senate. Nobody will control my brother. He will have ideas – he will put an excitement in the state Senate you haven’t seen."
Ed Thompson, who ran for governor in 2002 as a Libertarian, is running as a Republican against Sen. Kathleen Vinehout (D-Alma).
