Another - 8pm on CSPAN tonight the author of a book called "radical" who worked with Saul Alinksy (sp?) who wrote the leftist handbook "Rules for Radicals" will be on.

scheduling conflict - thank god for streaming archives and DVR's!

I think this is def. worth watching.

Thought-provoking, informative, and in favor of eliminating unnecessary interventionism abroad (worth mentioning -- he mentions Ron Paul).

Book introduction wasn't too interesting - might be worth skipping to Q&A @ ~18-19m in. Basis of the book is that the old DC rules of US intervening everywhere to "spread democracy" has become counter-productive and now serves primarily to benefit politicians and the military-industrial complex. He isn't fringe. He is a good speaker (though much slower-speaking than I'd like) and is generally quite fair.
