What does 9/12 have to do with taxes?

9/12 = War on Terror, Patriot Act, Patriot Act II, Military Commission Act, wars of aggression, etc.

Here's the speech. Booed when he suggested pot legalization, silence when he suggested entitlement reform, cheering when he suggested leaving Iraq and Afghanistan.

It sounded to me like there were more people cheering than booing the drug issue, but the pro-prohibition folks were clearly louder.

Also, I wonder whether people were really cheering because they thought he was suggesting leaving Iraq. He was mentioning nation building, but there's a part of me that thinks people might not have picked up on the fact that he was criticizing, not condoning, that course of action.
