We have 300 million people in this country. While most of them are good people we also have a lot of loons, a lot of haters, and a lot of people who want to be famous. Usually we ignore these people and go along with our day - but suddenly some random "Pastor" with a 50 member Church wants to burn a Koran and the President of the United States gets down on his knees and BEGS him not to do it. What kind of message does this send? Of course this lunatic in Tennessee wants to follow - and 100 more lunatics will spring up soon as well.

How about a First Amendment bonfire? Burn anything and everything. Holy Books, Unholy books, flags of all nations, required reading from English class, pictures and cartoons of prophets, books from TV commentators and politicians, the US tax code, disco records, etc. (excluding rare or valuable things of course). Even better, we can burn it all in a generator and make electricity...
